ALLAHABAD BANK SECURES FIRST PRIZE IN MSE LENDING BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA

ALLAHABAD BANK, the  Premier  Nationalized  Bank  of  the country, currently celebrating 146th year of its dedicated service to the Nation, has been conferred the National Award for excellence in MSE Lending for 2009-10 instituted by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. The Bank has secured the glorious FIRST PRIZE based on its outstanding performance in Lending to Micro & Small Enterprises during the year 2009-10.

Shri J.P.Dua, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank received the prestigious AWARD  for Best Performance in MSE Lending for 2009-10 from H.E. Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Hon’ble President of India in a glittering National Awards function held on 31st August, 2010 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The Bank’s attainment of this glory re-inforces its firm commitment and consistent contribution for the overall economic development of the country through faster growth of MSME and other Priority Sectors.
